REWIRED CHEMSENSE
Meet the team for our brand new Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO)
We get asked 'What is a LERO?', so we'll tell you!
What it is:
- An independent, peer-led organisation ran by people with lived experience
- A non‑judgemental presence focused on safety and wellbeing
- A calm, grounding space where support is given to those who need it
What it isn't:
- A space for assumptions and judgement towards people's experiences
- Non-structured without proactive ways to make change
- Teling people what to do

Our Mission, Vision and Values
Dedicated to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for the LGBT community, promoting health, awareness, and support through education and advocacy.

Saving lives through trust, care and connection
Our mission is to reduce chemsex-related deaths, break down stigma and shame, and help build a community where people feel safe enough to reach out. We want support to start with someone who gets it, whether through lived experience, cultural understanding, or both. We also want to help join the dots between services, so people are not passed around but met with care, respect and the right support at the right time.

Built by community, led by lived experience
Our vision is for a response to chemsex that grows from the ground up, with lived experience at its heart. We want to centre the voices of people who know this issue first-hand, especially people from multiply marginalised communities who are too often left out. By sharing real stories, raising awareness and building education and prevention work, we want to reduce harm and push for a more joined-up response across sexual health, mental health, and drugs and alcohol services.

No judgement, no shame, support for everyone
Our values are rooted in harm reduction, safety, compassion and wellbeing. We believe support should be free, easy to access and open to everyone. We stand against stigma and shame, and we believe people do best when they are met with honesty, dignity, cultural understanding and real human support.
Come meet our own LERO team, we are a group of passionate people committed to make a change to the chemsex scene and how people approach it. We have some big projects coming up so keep an eye on this page and sign up to our newsletter for updates!
If you want to get involved and come along to one of our sessions and give feedback, or simply want to reach out, please contact us on chemsex@lgbt.foundation
